You invite colleagues from Team, give each one a role, protect sign-ins with two-factor, keep your firm's details current in Settings, and export your data when you want to leave.

Your people are managed on Team, and your account's own details are in Settings. Both open from the sidebar. Most of Team is for admins. A colleague who is not an admin sees only the admins and themselves.

  1. 1 Invite a colleague. An admin enters an email address and picks a role. We email a link that works for 7 days.
  2. 2 Your colleague accepts the invitation by choosing a password. Until then you can resend or withdraw it.
  3. 3 Decide what each person can do. A role is a set of switches, and Admin and the other roles explains the difference. You can add a role or change one, for instance to give your accountant billing and invoices only.
  4. 4 Change a colleague's role when their work changes. What "Not in your role" means has its own page, and so does why someone was signed out.
  5. 5 Disable a colleague when they leave. Their sign-in ends at once.
  6. 6 Set up two-factor on your sign-in. If a colleague loses their authenticator, an admin can reset it.
  7. 7 Change your firm's name, contact or grievance details in Settings when they change.
  8. 8 Leave with your data by exporting it. Which outside services handle parts of your account is on its own page.
For example

Amaltas Deshmukh & Co has two admins and one member. On 1 July 2027 an admin invites a new colleague with the Member role. The invitation link works for 7 days, so it stops working on 8 July 2027. The colleague accepts it and appears under Joined. Later the admin adds a role called Accountant with only Plan & billing switched on and invites a bookkeeper with it. The bookkeeper's Home shows only Plan & billing. When the first colleague leaves, an admin chooses Disable on their row and their sign-in ends at once.
