Choose Disable on the person's row in Team and confirm, and they are signed out at once and cannot sign in until an admin re-enables them.

Only an admin can disable or re-enable a person.

Disable

  1. 1 Open Team.
  2. 2 In the People card, find the person under Joined and choose Disable.
  3. 3 The row asks Disable them? Choose Yes, disable, or choose Cancel to leave things as they are.

Every sign-in the person has ends at once. When they try to sign in, they see Account disabled. Their row stays in the list, greyed out and marked as disabled.

Nothing they created is removed. Requests, clients and documents stay with your firm, and what they did stays in the audit trail. A disabled person does not use a seat, so disabling frees one for another invitation.

You cannot disable yourself, and your own row has no Disable. You cannot disable the only admin. We refuse and say a firm always needs at least one admin.

Re-enable

Choose Re-enable on the person's row. Re-enabling needs a free seat. If every seat is in use, nothing changes and the row says so. Disable someone else first, or move to a bigger plan from Plan & billing. They keep the role they had. Re-enabling does not sign them in. They sign in again with their password, and with their two-factor code if two-factor was on.

An email address that belongs to a disabled person cannot be invited again. Re-enable the person instead.
