Terms of Use

The terms governing use of confidentialdispatch.com — a free, educational resource on India’s DPDP Act. Educational content, not legal advice.

Last updated: 3 July 2026

These terms govern your use of confidentialdispatch.com (the “site”). By using the site, you agree to them. Confidential Dispatch (“we”, “us”, “our”), a teamORQ business, runs this site as a free, educational resource on India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). Please read these terms alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. Educational purpose — not legal advice

Everything on this site is general information to help you understand the DPDP Act and good data-handling practice. It is not legal advice, and using the site does not create a lawyer–client or advisory relationship between you and us. Every situation is different — for advice on yours, consult a qualified lawyer.

We explain what the law requires. We do not certify that you, your business, or your organisation is “DPDP compliant” — that is a judgement only you and your advisers can make about your full operations. Any tool, checklist, or the DPDP Exposure Self-Check on this site indicates general obligations or exposure only; it is not an audit, a certification, or a legal assessment.

2. No warranty on accuracy

We work to keep the content accurate and current, but the DPDP Act and its Rules are still evolving and interpretations can change. We make no warranty that the content is complete, accurate, or up to date, and we are not responsible for decisions you take based on it. Where a page shows a “Last updated” date, it reflects when we last reviewed that page.

3. Using our content

You may read, share, and link to our content for your personal or internal business use. Please don’t republish it in bulk, resell it, present it as your own, or scrape the site by automated means. Short quotations with a clear link back to the source page are always welcome.

4. Intellectual property

The content, design, and brand on this site — including the name “Confidential Dispatch” and our logo — belong to us or our licensors. Linking to us is encouraged; copying our material wholesale is not.

5. Links to other sites

We sometimes link to third-party websites for reference (for example, government or regulatory pages). We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content, accuracy, or their own privacy practices.

6. The waitlist and the Self-Check

If you join our waitlist or use the DPDP Exposure Self-Check, our Privacy Policy explains exactly what data is involved and how we handle it. As above, the Self-Check is educational and gives a general indication only.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site or its content. The site is provided “as is”.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows the current version. Continuing to use the site means you accept the terms as they then stand.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute relating to them or to this site.
