Give your client the copy yourself, then choose Mark done on their row in Rights and confirm, and their rights link shows the request as done.

We do not send the copy. You send it, and then you tell us it is done.

  1. 1 On Rights, choose your client's name on the row. Their folder opens.
  2. 2 Choose Export their data. It downloads one file with their name, phone and email, their consents, their written answers and, for each document, its name, fingerprint and size. It covers everything you hold on that client across all their requests, not only the one they asked about. See giving one client a copy of everything.
  3. 3 To include the document files, choose Download everything in the folder, or Download all on one request's card. See downloading your client's documents.
  4. 4 Send the copy to your client yourself.
  5. 5 Back on Rights, choose Mark done on the row, then Yes, the copy was sent.

The row moves to the Register tab. The answer is recorded on your audit trail against your name. Your client's rights link then shows the request as done, as described in what your client sees after you answer. The app does not check that you sent the copy. Mark done records your confirmation.

Any role with the Answer rights requests switch can mark a copy done. Export their data needs its own switch, and a role without it sees the row greyed out. See permissions by role.

To refuse the request instead, see declining a client's request.
