Their request shows Done or Declined with the date, and your reason if you declined, and they see it only when they next open their rights link.

Your client's rights link lists their requests under the consent, each with a status. We send nothing when a status changes. No email or SMS goes out, so they see an answer only when they open the link.

The lines name your firm, and your firm's name and logo sit at the top of the page. A reason is shown as you typed it, without a final full stop.

A request you recorded from the folder appears in the same way as one they made themselves, with the day you entered as Asked on.

If your client withdraws the consent, the page changes to say it was withdrawn on that date and stops listing requests. Any request still open at that moment is closed by the withdrawal.

For example

Anita Deshpande asks Amaltas Deshmukh & Co for a copy on 1 September 2027. Her link shows Asked on 1 September 2027. An admin sends her the copy and chooses Mark done on 8 September 2027. Her link now shows "Done on" 8 September 2027 and a line saying Amaltas Deshmukh & Co marked it as done on that date. Nothing was sent to her.
