Only people whose role has the Plan & billing switch can sign in, and only to pay or, as an Admin, to download your data, while everything else stops until you pay or the account is deleted.
Your account is suspended when the 15 days of full use after a missed payment run out. The suspension lasts 15 days. If you pay in that time, the suspension ends at once and everything works as before. If you do not, the account is deleted when the 15 days end. What happens if you stop paying shows the whole sequence.
Who can sign in
Only a person whose role has the Plan & billing switch can sign in. Admin always has it. Everyone else is told the account is suspended and to ask your admin. A person who has forgotten their password can still reset it.
What the person who signs in sees
One page, Plan & billing. A red block at the top says the account is suspended and gives the dates. Under it is the card to pay. An Admin also sees the Export your data card and can use it to download everything you hold.
✓Pay from Plan & billing: renew your plan, or choose a plan if the free days were never followed by one.
✓As an Admin, download your data from the Export your data card.
✗Every other screen is out of reach. You cannot send a request, open or download a document, answer a client on the Rights page, or change a setting.
✗Every upload link you sent to a client shows as not valid. Your client cannot upload. The page says the link is not valid and names no firm, so your client may contact you about it. What we tell clients about such a link is on its own page.
What carries on
Deletions you scheduled still run on their dates. A client who opens the rights link on their receipt can still withdraw consent, and the withdrawal is carried out.
When you pay, the plan runs from the day you pay. The account is restored once the payment is confirmed, which takes a few seconds.
For example
Amaltas Deshmukh & Co pays for a monthly plan on 1 July 2027. The plan's last day is 31 July 2027, and the account is suspended on 16 August 2027. From then only its two admins can sign in, and only to Plan & billing. If nobody pays, the account is deleted on 31 August 2027.
