Two items can come from DigiLocker: PAN Card and Driving Licence. You add them from the suggestions under What you need when you choose the items. Their label is fixed and they are always documents.
Each of these rows carries a switch. A new row reads Upload or DigiLocker. Choose it to change the row to Upload only, and choose it again to switch back. A row set to Upload only looks to your client like any other upload row.
On the upload page, a row set to Upload or DigiLocker can be filled with Fetch from DigiLocker. Your client signs in at DigiLocker, ticks the documents to share and comes back to the page. One trip fills every open row that allows it. A fetched file is checked and encrypted like an upload. It reaches you only when your client sends it.
DigiLocker shares only documents already issued into your client's DigiLocker. When a document is not there, the row says so and your client can upload a photo or PDF instead.
In the client's folder, a fetched document's tile reads From DigiLocker. When you view it, its Source row names the issuer. The proof record keeps the same source beside the document's fingerprint. If a fetched file fails our integrity check, we do not keep it, and your audit trail records that.
We keep the document and the issuer's name. We keep nothing else DigiLocker sends about your client, such as their name or date of birth.
