Yes, when the request page shows Fetch from DigiLocker, you can sign in to DigiLocker, choose the documents to share and then send them to the firm from the same page.

Some requests let you fill a PAN Card or Driving Licence row from your own DigiLocker. When one does, the page shows Fetch from DigiLocker with a line naming the rows it can fill. You agree to the notice first, as for any upload. What the consent box means is explained on its own page.

  1. 1 Choose Fetch from DigiLocker. The page takes you to DigiLocker.
  2. 2 Sign in to DigiLocker. If you shared with us a short while ago, DigiLocker may skip this step.
  3. 3 DigiLocker lists the documents it holds for you. Tick the ones to share. Nothing ticked means nothing is shared.
  4. 4 You come back to the request page. Each filled row reads Successfully retrieved from DigiLocker.
  5. 5 Press the Send button, as you would for an upload. Knowing it went through is explained on its own page.

If a row reads Not in your DigiLocker yet, DigiLocker does not hold that document for you. Add it in DigiLocker, or upload a photo or PDF of it instead. If DigiLocker sends nothing back, the page says so. Try again, or upload the file yourself.

We keep the document and the name of the body that issued it. We do not keep your DigiLocker ID or the other details DigiLocker shares when you sign in, such as your name or date of birth. The firm sees the document marked as fetched from DigiLocker.
