Try again means the screen could not load its data from our server, so choosing it asks for the same data again and changes nothing in your records.

Try again

When a screen cannot get its data from our server, it replaces the screen with a short heading such as "Couldn't load this right now" or "Could not load your clients". Under it is a Try again button. Home, Requests, Clients, Retention, Rights, Activity, Team, Settings and the Breach register all do this. On Home, the activity list can fail on its own, and it then shows a red note with the same button.

Choose Try again to ask for the same data again. A failed load changes nothing in your records. If it fails again, check your connection and reload the page. If it keeps failing, contact support and say which screen it was.

A control that fails shows a message under it instead, such as "Could not reach the server".

Not in your role

A screen your role does not hold shows a different message. It says Not in your role, with the line "This page isn't in your role" and a Back to Home button. Everything else in your left rail still works. Ask an admin if you need the screen. What the message means and what each role can do are on their own pages.

Opening such a screen is recorded on your audit trail as a page opened outside your role, once a minute at most for each page. Nobody is notified. An action your role may not take is refused and is also recorded on the trail.

When your sign-in has ended

No error screen shows. You go to the sign-in page, which says "Your session ended". After you sign in again you return to the page you were on. Why you were signed out is on its own page.
