You stay signed in for 7 days from the moment you sign in. Closing the browser does not end it. Using the app does not extend it either, so the 7 days always count from your last sign-in.

Each device you sign in on has its own 7 days.

When the 7 days are up, you are taken to the sign-in page, which shows Your session ended. After you sign in, you land on the page you were on.

To end a sign-in sooner, choose Sign out in the menu behind your name. That ends the sign-in on the device you are using and no other.

A sign-in can also end before the 7 days are up, for reasons that are not in your hands. Why you were signed out lists them.
